A Public Reading by Linda Stewart-Oaten: Join us at the Canary Hotel (31 West Carrillo) for a public reading by Linda Stewart-Oaten, winner of the 2010 IAA in general fiction, with Jim Alexander, Catherine Gee, and Fred Nadis, recipients of honorable mention in general fiction.


September 11 - November 13, 2010

2010 Individual Artist Awards Group Exhibition: The 2010 IAA show includes work by the Winners for each category as well as the Honorable Mentions. You can also view a presentation via the laptop in the gallery to learn more about the General Fiction Winner and Honorable Mentions in that category.

Colville Foundation Art Exhibit & Fundraiser: In collaboration with the William T. Colville Foundation, The Arts Fund will host as art exhibition and fundraiser of artwork donated by recipients of the William T. Colville Foundation Artist Grant Program.

Opening Reception: Friday, July 23, 5:30 to 7:30pm


May 21 - July 16, 2010

The 2010 Teen Arts Mentorship Annual Group Exhibition: More than 50 oil paintings, drawings, photographs, and bronze sculptures highlight the diverse talents of 29 highschool students who participated in four mentorship programs led by master artists Nell Campbell, Colin Gray, Pamela Larsson-Toscher, and Nevin Littlehale.

Opening Reception: Friday, May 21, 5:30 to 7:30pm


April 2 - May 15, 2010

Artists as Mentors: As a preview to The Arts Fund’s annual Teen Arts Mentorship Group Exhibition, ARTISTS AS MENTORS will showcase the works of six mentor instructors. The exhibit will include photography, drawing, painting, bronze sculpture, and assemblage works by master artists Nell Campbell, Colin Gray, Pamela Larsson-Toscher, Nevin Littlehale, Rafael Perea de la Cabada, and Ron Roberston.

January 29 - March 12, 2010

Circular Logic and Other Dilemmas: Hugh Margerum, recipient of The Arts Fund’s 2008 Individual Artist Award (IAA) in Painting, will exhibit a collection of recent paintings in a solo exhibit titled, Circular Logic and other Dilemmas, a collection of recent abstract paintings that reflect Margerum’s ongoing interest in exploring the dynamic relationships between scale, figure and ground, and color.
