VISIT THE ARTS FUND COMMUNITY GALLERY AT OUR NEW LOCATION IN LA CUMBRE PLAZA!
On July 1, 2022, the Arts Fund brought the Museum of Sensory & Movement Experiences (MSME) under our Community Gallery program. This addition was made possible in part through generous funding from the David Bermant Foundation.
MSME was founded by local Santa Barbara artist Marco Pinter, who had a vision for a space that would present the public with experimental time-based art, both contemporary and historical. As a project that supported local and regional technology-based artists, The Arts Fund saw a natural fit within the Community Gallery program.
We're thrilled to continue and sustain Marco's vision for this community space, the only one of its kind between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

As part of bringing MSME into the Community Gallery program, The Arts Fund took over the lease for MSME's 3,000 square-foot multi-use space in La Cumbre Plaza. MSME will continue to operate under the leadership of the Arts Fund, with a dedicated space inside for the Community Gallery. We're excited to have a new home in Santa Barbara to host shows throughout the year that feature and celebrate the artists of Santa Barbara County.
Come visit us at La Cumbre Plaza, storefront F119! La Cumbre plaza is located just 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and features plenty of free parking.

Collaborating with a minimum of 4 local artists and/or community organizations to offer the widest inclusion of the public and create a synergistic forum for the advancement of the arts
Offering educational opportunities for the community to better understand local art, artists, or artistic processes
