Artist Talk: The Long Game

Friday, June 21, 2019 6pm-7pm

Please join us on Friday, June 21st from 6pm-7pm for "The Long Game" Artist Talk with Charles Donelan, Inga Guzyte, Barbara Parmet and Blakeney Sanford, at The Arts Fund Community Gallery, located at 205-C Santa Barbara Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.

About the show: The Long Game features sculpture, installation, textile and printmaking that embodies the knowledge that choices we make today can connect to intentional desired outcomes, curated by Charles Donelan. The exhibition concept comes as the flipside to Unintended Consequences, Donelan’s curated show at The Arts Fund in 2015, where artists' work incorporated chance and flux in response to a rapidly changing world. The Long Game features work by Claudia Borfiga, Inga Guzyte, Barbara Parmet, and Blakeney Sanford.

About The Arts Fund: Originally incorporated as the County of Santa Barbara Art Associates, The Arts Fund was created in 1983 as a private, nonprofit corporation to promote, foster, and support art activities in Santa Barbara County and to facilitate the works of the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission. In the late 1980s, The Arts Fund evolved into an independent organization with its current mission of offering art education, development and exhibition opportunities to aspiring artists and curators, as well as opportunities for Santa Barbara County residents to expand their appreciation for the wealth of local arts in our own community.
