About Out Loud: Out Loud is Santa Barbara's bi-monthly literary reading, featuring local poets, fiction writers, essayists, and artists. The primary goal for Out Loud is to seek out, cultivate, and support a vibrant literary arts community in Santa Barbara. Out Loud readers are selected from a submission pool and represent a diversity of voices, experiences, and backgrounds, but all readers share a love of storytelling in its myriad forms.
