About Lama Dog: The idea for Lama Dog Tap Room + Bottle Shop developed when the owner, an assistant winemaker at the time, developed a love for craft beer during a grape harvest many years ago. Although they love wine, the craft beer scene really excited them and they saw a glaring unfilled niche in the Santa Barbara beer scene for a bottle shop/tap room. To keep their love of wine alive they carry a selection of small lot wine including their own label made by the owner. Are you wondering who Lama is? Lama is the owner's dog, a Tibetan Mastiff.
